We are one of few fully accredited and sustainable B-BBEE security companies with 100% black ownership that originated in Thohoyandou in rural Vhembe. For B-BBEE guarding security companies that originated in rural areas such as Vhembe to become sustainable, we are highly dependable on corporate and government type clients capable of paying guarding service fees based on the minimum wage determination rates prescribed by the Dept. of Labour and regulated by PSIRA. To remain both sustainable and compliant, Gwala has -since its inception in 2003 -tendered for contracts and rendered our services by sourcing, training and supervising guards close to our clients. Unless our clients prefer otherwise, this ensures that our client creates employment opportunities for their local communities. We also invest in the establishment of any infrastructure that might be required at the point of service delivery.
